*How to set and use replaceable text*
Choose a fixed phrase on the Phrasebook screen, and then tap "Replacable text".
Double tap and drag to choose the part of the phrase to make replacable, and then register the replacement alternatives.

On the Chat screen, tap "Choose a phrase" and the tap the pencil next to the fixed phrase you just edited.
Choose the replacement alternative to use from the list shown.
